A great book on the inspiration of the Old and New Testaments

Description

Are we missing any books from the Bible?

Are there books that shouldn’t be there?

Robert Haldane answers these questions (and more) in this clear and concise book.

He shows each of the Old Testament books are inspired, and canonical—not because some Church Council said so, but because God said so. Jesus endorsed the Old Testament as it appears in non-Catholic Bibles. Each of the New Testament books are inspired, and that none of the supposed “lost books of the Bible” were ever considered part of the Bible to begin with.

The book also details the origin of the Apocrypha and its addition to Catholic Bibles—and shows that even one of the greatest Catholic scholars, St. Jerome, acknowledged they didn’t really belong.
