Finding True Light: True Stories of Conversion to Christ and His Church

True stories of conversion written by those converted from denominationalism and worldliness.

Stories often reach people better than reason and logic. It is no surprise Jesus taught in stories (parables). This book is a collection of true stories of conversion to Jesus Christ and His church.

Each writer tells their own history of learning the truth about Jesus’ church, and the Bible answer to “What must I do to be saved?” They each struggled to pair that truth with the teachings of their religion, and each made the trusting step to follow the truth instead of what they had always believed and been taught.

These authors left the Mormon, Roman Catholic, Baptist, Missionary Baptist, Methodist, Lutheran, Brethren, Reformed, Presbyterian, Cumberland Presbyterian, and Adventist Churches–all because they wanted to simply be a Christian as described in the Bible, and added to the church of Christ talked about in its pages.

When you read this book, two things will happen:

  1. You’ll be encouraged by the stories of these brave men who decided to listen to Jesus instead of men.
  2. You’ll learn how to share the gospel with those of various denominational backgrounds.

If you liked Muscle and a Shovel by Michael Shank, you will find this book enjoyable as well.
